Portsmouth Road (Manor Lodge), Thames Ditton

Ground-floor rear extension (please click on images to expand).
We designed and built a ground-floor rear extension for this historic property in Thames Ditton, which was reportedly once used as a hunting lodge by Henry VIII. The house features many original elements, such as a cast iron range fireplace and exposed joists, which the client wanted to retain while incorporating modern additions. The final design seamlessly blends period charm with contemporary features, including slimline sliding doors, a large skylight, an oriel window, and charred larch cladding.
