Ian & Emily approached Thames Design & Build because the ground floor space and layout of their property was not suitable for their needs as a family with two young children.

Their kitchen was too small and they had a dilapidated lean to on the rear of the property which was blocking sunlight and their view of the back garden. Thames Design & Build worked with them to design the large open plan family (kitchen/dining/living) room with bi-fold doors leading on to the garden which created a great space that the family can spend some quality time together in, and also a great for entertaining guests.

We then obtained Planning Permission, Building Regulation Approval and completed the building work on time and on budget.

"Our TD&B experience has been great. From the start, the plans drawn up were clear with some useful guidance offered on roof pitch, extension length and velux window sizes, amongst other things. The onsite build team were very considerate with noise and disruption levels and the office admin team helpful in keeping us informed on forecasts and procurements.
All in all the project came in on timescales and very close on cost estimate and we are really pleased with the finished space.  Would highly recommend the team to anyone.
