Basingfield Road, Thames Ditton

We loved working on this project in Thames Ditton. The brief was to make the most of the home's potential — creating a genuinely open, light-filled ground floor living space alongside a loft conversion that added real, usable space to the upper floor. The result is a home that feels completely transformed, inside and out.

On the ground floor, a full-width rear brick extension with bifold doors opens straight out onto the garden, making the kitchen, dining and living areas feel seamlessly connected. A bespoke oak slatted divider adds warmth and definition between the spaces without closing them off, and the whole ground floor flows beautifully. Upstairs, the loft conversion introduced a brand new floor of accommodation, complete with its own character — from the striking feature wallpaper and mirrored wardrobe in the bedroom to the clean, well-finished bathroom. The staircase was also reworked with oak balusters, tying the whole house together with a consistent, natural material palette.
